AES Signs Contract for Vattanac Capital Project

AES is pleased to announce that it has signed the contract for the Vattanac Capital project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Under this contract, AES will provide a turnkey security solution comprised of redundant Cardax FT access control systems and Aimetis Symphony video surveillance systems.

The Cardax FT access control system will monitor over 150 doors spread across all floors and includes Cardax MIFARE proximity readers as well as Sagem biometric readers. Additional features include the Cardax Visitor Management system to control visitor access. To provide maximum availability, a redundant server will be set up in a "hot standby" configuration - even in the unlikely event of a server failure, the redundant server will take over transparently with zero downtime.

The Aimetis Symphony video surveillance system will manage over 400 cameras using Dell PowerEdge servers and PowerVault network attached storage. The network video recorders will be configured in a redundant server farm, allowing cameras to be moved to a "hot standby" in the unlikely event an NVR fails.

In addition to housing Vattanac bank, the 30 floor sky tower will also provide offices and stock exchange facilities.
